Can the shower head that comes with the Sprite shower filter be replaced with my own shower head?

In most circumstances, yes. After removing the existing shower head from your shower arm, thread the Sprite shower filter onto the shower arm. Then attach the shower head of your choice onto the Sprite shower filter. It is recommended that you choose a shower head with a flow rate of 2.5 g.p.m., which is considered low flow and will ensure the water has sufficient contact time with the filter media. If you purchase one of Sprite's All-In-One units, which combine a Sprite shower filter with an adjustable spray shower head in a one-piece unit, you cannot use your own shower head.
